Strengthening the Church. Reaching the Unreached.

Lifting the Sinkers Global Ministries is a Christ-centered missions movement committed to strengthening the Church in Northern Nigeria and advancing the Gospel among unreached peoples across the Sahel and beyond.

Mobilizing. Equipping. Multiplying.

We exist to equip indigenous believers, mobilize churches, and multiply disciple-making house churches in spiritually underserved regions.
WHO WE ARE

A missions movement born from burden, obedience, and Gospel urgency.

Lifting the Sinkers Global Ministries is a Christ-centered missions movement committed to strengthening the Church in Northern Nigeria and advancing the Gospel among unreached peoples across the Sahel and beyond. Founded by Jerry R. Anze after nearly two decades of ministry leadership, global missions’ engagement, and disciple multiplication work across multiple nations, the ministry exists to mobilize believers, equip indigenous believers, and multiply reproducing disciple-making house churches in spiritually underserved regions.
Jerry Anze previously served for 17 years with the International Leadership Institute (ILI), where he trained thousands of Christian leaders in over 100 nations, coordinated leadership and multiplication initiatives across seven nations in West Africa where he directly oversaw ministry operations, and served on the global leadership team of ILI. His ministry experience spans leadership development, mission mobilization, church strengthening, discipleship multiplication, and strategic Gospel engagement across more than 100 countries around the world.
Born and raised in Northern Nigeria, Jerry carries a deep burden for unreached communities, persecuted believers, and regions where access to the Gospel remains limited. Through Lifting the Sinkers Global Ministries, he is leading a growing movement focused on evangelism, discipleship, house church multiplication, student mission mobilization, and raising indigenous believers who can sustainably reach their own communities with the hope of Christ.
At the heart of the ministry is a simple but urgent vision: to see the Church awakened, disciples multiplied, and the Gospel carried to the unreached across Northern Nigeria, the Sahel, and beyond.

Our Vision

Strengthen the Church in Northern Nigeria to make disciples, proclaim Christ, and carry the hope of the Gospel to unreached peoples.

Our Mission

To equip and send believers to share the Gospel, make disciples, and establish reproducing house church movements across Northern Nigeria and the Sahel.
Our Strategy

Identify. Equip. Send. Multiply.

Our strategy is simple, biblical, and reproducible. We raise indigenous leaders who can disciple others and multiply Gospel witness in their own communities.

Identify

We recognize unreached communities, emerging leaders, and strategic mission fields across Northern Nigeria and the Sahel.

Equip

We train indigenous believers in biblical discipleship, evangelism, leadership, and simple reproducible house church models.

Send

We mobilize believers to carry the Gospel with courage, wisdom, and compassion into underserved communities.

Multiply

We cultivate disciple-making movements that grow through local ownership, spiritual maturity, and reproducing house churches.

Why Northern Nigeria?

A strategic mission field where faithful local witness matters deeply.

Northern Nigeria remains home to many spiritually underserved communities, including unreached peoples and believers facing pressure for their faith. We believe long-term transformation must be rooted in local believers who are equipped, encouraged, and sent with the Gospel.
·      This region represents both great need and great opportunity.
·      Many communities have limited access to the Gospel, yet there is a deep spiritual hunger.
·      God is raising leaders from within who will carry the message further
than we ever could from the outside.
